Zone exit, season 3 | Episode 12: Should We Throw in the Towel Already?

In this podcast episode Zone exit, a collaboration between Press and 98.5 FM, host Jérémie Rainville receives collaborators Philippe Cantin, Alexandre Pratt and Stéphane Waite.

The defeats accumulate for the Canadian. So much so that in mid-November, we are already wondering whether to throw in the towel for the current season.

There is also question of the decline of Jeff Petry, the use of Samuel Montembeault, and Philippe Cantin points to four forwards from the Habs for their poor start to the season.

It is the proof of a team which is not united. I’m not saying it’s a mess in the team, but there is no solidarity. Looks like there is indifference.

Philippe Cantin

Not sure it would have turned out the same if Weber or Edmundson were there. It shows a little lack of leadership or character when the goalkeeper got beaten up a lot on the weekend. It was something, as a goalkeeper coach, that I was cursed, when the opponent came to the net so easily and was allowed. When that happened, we took care of it pretty quickly. You need to protect your guardian much better than that.
