To meet Zara and Mike Tindal, it’s quite simple: all you have to do is go to an equestrian competition across the Channel. On Tuesday March 15, in Gloucestershire, the couple reappeared in public on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival 2022, a well-known meeting place for horse racing enthusiasts. The opportunity for the couple to display their joyful complicity.
If the day was sporty, the dress code was on the other hand sophisticated, as is usually the case for this kind of event. Zara Tindall (ex Phillips) had bet this time on a burgundy ensemble, with a Karen Millen belt cape, black Theory pants and a pair of black Emmy London pumps. The 40-year-old Briton, Olympic horse riding champion, completed her outfit with a Lalage handbag and a Juliette Millinery hat. For his part, her husband Mike Tindall had opted for a so-called country chic look, with his plaid jacket and his slightly retro cap.
Visibly delighted to take part in this opening day of the Cheltenham Festival, the couple immortalized this moment with a few selfies (see slideshow). A real fantasy on the part of members of the royal family, who generally avoid taking pictures of themselves in public! Being one of the only members of the royal family active on social networks, the 43-year-old former rugby player then relayed one of these photos on his Instagram account.
“Great first day @cheltenhamraces with @thegreenroomexperience. England are in a good place for the first time in a few days!!!! Let’s see what happens!!“, he commented with joy. On the photo series, we can also see Peter Phillips, the big brother of Zara, the eldest of Princess Anne (the daughter of Queen Elizabeth).
