Ten days away from his 88e anniversary, the unique Yvon Deschamps will return to the stage at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer.
In a production entitled l’Ultime gala, the Festival promises a collective show by several artists and comedians invited for the occasion, the profits of which will be donated to the Yvon Deschamps Centre-Sud Foundation, which supports thousands of young people in the Centre-Sud district. from Montreal.
The organizers have chosen to invite all generations of comedians, for whom Yvon Deschamps can easily be described as a spiritual father.
The event will be presented on July 20 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.
The Chief Creative Officer of the Just for Laughs Group, Patrick Rozon, recalled in a press release that “Yvon Deschamps has participated in an array of Just for Laughs Galas throughout his impressive career and we are honored that he choose our festival to possibly offer their last performance on stage”.
