Yves Juhel won the municipal election in Menton with 43.11% of the vote ahead of Sandra Paire (40.24%) and Anthony Malvault (16.65%). He thus succeeds Jean-Claude Guibal and becomes mayor until 2026.
According to Yves Juhel, it was “the desire for change that made the difference. The people of Menton no longer wanted the old system”.
For this second round, the participation rate is 51.61%. It’s a rising number. compared to the first round of the election where 49.96% of Menton residents went to the polls.
When the results are announced, Anthony Malvault came to congratulate Yves Juhel at the town hall. The new mayor of Menton, in turn, reached out to the candidate who came third in this second round.
