A week after the attack on Yvan Colonna in prison, who is still between life and death, the demonstrations are multiplying in Corsica. On the evening of Wednesday March 9, some degenerated.

On the evening of Wednesday March 9, the Ajaccio courthouse (South Corsica) was targeted by protesters and set on fire after molotov cocktails were thrown. A symbol of anger that has gone up a notch in Corsica. Violence took place in other places: a bank branch was thus attacked using a construction machine. Five people were arrested on the night of March 9 to 10.

On the morning of Thursday March 10, in front of the courthouse still blackened by flames, the magistrates asked for a return to calm. In the same place, a new demonstration was however held, led in particular by high school students. A week after the attempted assassination in prison of the Corsican nationalist Yvan Colonnawho is still between life and death, the mobilization continues in Corsica.
