Monday February 19, three days after the death of her husband, Yulia Navalnaïa, the widow of Alexeï Navalny, decided to take to the front by meeting in particular the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, but also by publishing a video in which she does not hesitate to directly accuse the Russian president. “Three days ago, Vladimir Putin killed my husband Alexei Navalny. Putin killed the father of my children. Putin took away from me what was dearest to me, the closest and most loved person”declares the widow of the main opponent of the Russian president.
An official version called into question
Yulia Navalnaïa assures in the video that she will support her husband’s fight. For now, his loved ones have still not been able to recover or even see the remains of Alexeï Navalny. According to the opponent’s team, investigators will examine his body for at least fourteen days. Those close to Alexeï Navalny are questioning the official version which states that the opponent died after feeling unwell during a walk in the penal colony where he was detained in the Arctic.
