by Vitaa with Lucie Bernadoni. Overwhelmed by emotion, Lenie
couldn’t hold back her tears while singing.
She subsequently felt the need to slip away and confide in Héléna. Moment that she then chose to reveal the reasons for this emotion. “It will almost be a year since my father-in-law left. So it’s a lot at once, I’m having trouble channeling it.”she revealed to him before continuing: “I’m trying to hold on and stay in it but it’s hard. […] I’m starting to realize that he really, really isn’t here anymore. […] Every day I thank heaven for being here but we are humans”.

Lénie unable to contain her emotion in the face of Yseult
The loss of her father-in-law led her to leave her general education to devote herself to her passion. “This tragedy made me realize that I might one day have regretsso my mother signed me up for the casting”she declared to our colleagues at Provence. A being who he misses every day and Lenie proved it once again this Thursday, December 7, 2023 when Yseul came to visit the candidates of the show hosted by Nikos Aliagas.
The students were able to interact with the 29-year-old artist but also sing a duet. The opportunity for Lenie to cover a flagship title from Yseult, Body, in piano-voice… and once again be overcome by emotion. Indeed, as she indicated following her performance, this was the last song she sang to her father-in-law just before he died.
