Marlène Schiappa has never been talked about so much. The Secretary of State gave a long interview on women’s rights to the magazine Playboy. It is not the substance that has been reproached to him since the announcement of this “collaboration” but the form.
Moreover, it creates unease within the government itself. Elisabeth Borne considers that this interview “was not appropriatea fortiori in the period” current. Other voices are raised in the executive. Sound of story… identical.
If in his own camp, this choice does not pass, on the networks, everyone goes there with his comment. And in the media, they are also numerous to seize the subject and to express a decided opinion, tinged with humor or not.
This was the case of Bertrand Chameroy on RTL this Monday, April 3, 2023. Cauet, too, mentioned the controversy in his radio program on NRJ.

Marlène Schiappa on the front page of Playboy, Cauet gives her opinion
The host said to himself “shocked” that she agreed to confide in “Playboy”. “the creator of Playboy has been accused of rape on several occasions. It’s still someone who said in 2012 ‘women are a sexual object. If they weren’t sex objects there wouldn’t be other generations it’s the attraction between the sexes that makes the world go round […] A woman must smell clean and must be well washed'”. He recalled in the preamble.
Words from Hugh Hefner (Playboy creator: editor’s note) totally the opposite of Marlène Schiappa’s fights. In fact, Cauet fails to understand the choice of the Secretary of State and gives a concrete example to support his words: “You are not making a center for children in the former house of Marc Dutroux. You are shifting it by 200 meters! I am just saying that you are not doing that!”.
