The tribune of unease. This Friday, December 29, 2023, interviewed by BFMTV, the actor Gérard Darmonwhich is one of the 56 personalities signatories of a platform of support for Gérard Depardieujustified his position, which he however qualified, arguing on the one hand that he did not personally know the actor indicted for rape and sexual assault since 2020, and on the other hand assuring that he would change his mind if the facts which were accused of, came to be criminally characterized: “What is important to me is the two rapes. The accusation of the two rapes. And that is where there is a presumption of innocence. If he recognizes Gérard Depardieu “a Shakespearean dimension”the actor popularized in recent months among young audiences through his participation in LOL on Amazon Prime, however, considered that the remarks made by the sacred monster of French cinema in Complément d’investigation were not problematic: “Real sexual perverts keep their mouths shut (…) He talks about it like he talks about a recipe (…) Do you know how guys talk about women? Have you ever been saucy?”
