For more than 500 years, surrounded by the flamboyant forests of Haute-Saône, La Rochère has been working glass in an authentic and passionate way in Passavant-La-Rochère, which makes the company the oldest glass factory still in operation in Europe. The master glassmakers of La Rochère have produced two unique eggs in the colors of France Bleu. They are made of hand-blown mouth-blown crystalline, multi-layered glass. Two ferns adorn the egg, the fern representing the glassware (the potassium oxide which favors the blowing of glass was formerly incorporated in the form of plant ashes like the fern), accompanied by the France Bleu logo.
