The video only stayed online for a few hours. Young people with Macron (JAM) published, Wednesday, June 15, a campaign clip imagining the situation in France in the event of victory of the Nupes at the end of the second round of the legislative elections. This spot features “some of the measures that could be taken if the extremes came to power and imposed their program”, explain the JAMs on Twitter. “We are deleting this video in view of the hate messages that followed, in particular towards image activists”they continue in a second tweet. Despite its deletion, the video of just over a minute was downloaded by Internet users and re-shared. There she is.

What do we see in the picture? “Sunday, June 19. 8 p.m. LFI wins the legislative elections and for the first time, an extremist party wins the majority in the National Assembly”, can we read in the introduction. The fiction shows a young woman walking in the street receiving notifications from information sites (such as franceinfo, RTL or even LCI) about bills from the left-wing majority.

She also exchanges messages with her relatives. “I have booked a three day weekend in Marrakech for October”, writes a member of his entourage. But soon after, she learns that the Nupes-led coalition has banned low-cost commercial flights out of Europe, which cancels her vacation. “But it’s not possible !” she says, as the notifications accumulate, reporting, among other things, that energy prices are rising by 20% due to “shutdown of nuclear power plants”that “the poor have never been so poor” despite the “restoration of the ISF” or that the government presents its “project of disobedience to the European Union”.

The rebellious young people quickly made fun of Twitterr a “great parody”. “You are the best, keep it up, don’t change anything”they quipped. “Can someone explain to Young People with Macron that Macron is disobeying certain European rules and that he has never tabled a bill for this? Thank you for them because there they seem a bit like fools”, judged Manuel Bompardcandidate of the Nupes in the constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône where Jean-Luc Mélenchon was elected deputy in 2017.

The militants of La France insoumise were not the only ones to react. The idea of the three-day weekend in Marrakech was particularly commented on. “It’s a promo clip for global warming, right?”, pretends to wonder the Bon Pote site, specializing in the treatment of global warming. “Young people with Macron just as above ground as the old people with Macron”, reacted this userwheras’another pointed the “disconnect” young macronists. “We regret the diversion of the main message: to call on voters to say no to extremes and to give a strong majority to the President of the Republic”defended the members of the JAM.
