The terrorist attack then the war hits Palestinian and Israeli youth. The carnage and everything that followed added rage for both.
They are 20 years old, of Jewish or Muslim faith and full of anxiety. The students are experiencing one of the most traumatic episodes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. A young Israeli girl volunteers to collect tomatoes on a farm in Moshav Bitzaron (Israel). She comes to help after the departure of Thai workers. For her, talking about the Hamas attack remains complicated. “I’m in between”she specifies.
Difficulty talking to each other
In Jerusalem, a group organizes transport across the country. Most employees say they have Palestinian friends and often demonstrate against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Since the Hamas attack, friendships have been more complicated. “Those of my friends who supported the Hamas attacks, I will have a hard time forgiving them”specifies a student.
