Six young people and two adults from the Monnaie district in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) are invited on Wednesday December 20 to the National Assembly for a hearing, the police-justice service of France Inter learned. They are invited by the rebellious MP Marie Pochon (3rd constituency of Drôme) with the aim of “to hear voices that we rarely hear in public debate”we can read in a press release from the MP.

Still according to this press release, “since the death of Thomas in Crépol, voices have wanted to draw irreconcilable Frances: that of small villages and that of the suburbs”the opportunity for the MP to show that “These young people often have much more in common than we want to say”while for several weeks, the Monnaie district has been a target on social networks or in public debate.

“Change the image of their city”

It was the young people who approached the MP, who agreed to invite them. They have one “list of proposals” to present to the deputies for “change the image of their city” And “avoid amalgams”according to information from France Inter.

All deputies, except those of the RN, are invited to this hearing which will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the National Assembly. The rebellious Raquel Garrido and François Ruffin have confirmed their arrival, as well as the Renaissance deputy for Drôme Mireille Clapot.
