CV under the arm and giveaways “1 young person, 1 solution” in hand, they are 70 young people to have pressed this Tuesday in this job-dating with a view of the lawn of the Marcel-Michelin stadium in Clermont-Ferrand. All of them came looking for an internship, a work-study program or a permanent job among the twenty or so employers present. This is the case of Martin, 21, who makes himself known to all employers: “I came to look for a work-study program for a master’s degree in human resources, so I come to see almost all the stands to offer my CV and see if they have any interesting offers.“.

A few meters further, Vima takes stock with a friend. She is here to find an end-of-year internship as part of her studies in statistics. For her, this day offers her the opportunity to better understand the expectations of recruiters. The student also took advantage of training to prepare for a job interview. These workshops are offered by Marie Hellebuyk, professional development consultant at Apec (Association for the employment of executives). “There were six registered and finally 15 present, so it’s a good surprise” she enthuses at the end of one of them.
