Young Amaury Mizera from Amiens, hospitalized after an accident in Austria

Amaury Mizera, a young motorcycle hopeful from Amiens, was hospitalized after an accident in Austria on the evening of Saturday August 20, during the Red Bull Rookies Cup, a championship for young riders organized on the sidelines of the Austrian GP in MotoGP. His state of health is unknown.

The 15-year-old Amiens is collided with another pilot, the Hungarian Soma Görbe, during the lap of honor at the end of the race. If Görbe was able to be treated on the spot, Amaury Mizera was transported to hospital in Graz, some 80 km from the circuit, according to a press release from the organization published late Saturday evening.

This accident comes less than a month after the death of an 8-year-old French biker, Mathis Bellon, during a race in Italy.
