You will have to pay to vote on Twitter, says Elon Musk

Twitter users will have to pay in order to vote in polls, Elon Musk said Monday night.

In one tweet, a user suggested to the new boss of the social network that only subscribers to Twitter Blue should have the right to vote in the polls. The billionaire liked the proposal and indicated that it would be implemented.

Twitter Blue is a premium monthly subscription to the platform. For $10 per month, users can enjoy certain benefits that “normal” users do not have access to. For example, they can get the famous blue hook on their account and edit their tweets.

This situation arose after Elon Musk took a poll asking if he should stay on as Twitter president.

With more than 17 million voters, 57.5% voted in favor of the departure of Mr. Musk, who had pledged to respect the result of the poll.

The boss has still not reacted since the final result of the survey.
