“You didn’t take a little shovel”

Coco before Chanel, A Long Engagement Sunday, The Foam of Days, Da Vinci Code… Audrey Tautou’s filmography is vast, very vast. Although the actress has accumulated a large number of feature films during her career, one film in particular remains iconic: The fabulous destiny of Amelie Poulain by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Released in 2001, this work offered him the opportunity to demonstrate his talent and fully integrate into the prestigious French cinema family.

18 years after this success, Audrey Tautou made the decision to take a break from her career in order to devote herself fully to her life as a mother. Exit comedy, the ex-partner of Matthieu Chedid is now evolving in other areas. Last year, she opened the AMI spring-summer men’s show during Paris Fashion Week. On January 19, it is at the musical Seine that the pretty brunette will play in an adaptation of Charlotte by David Foenkinos. In full promotion of this new project, Audrey Tautou was, this Sunday, December 10, 2023, the guest of Laurent Delahousse on the set of his show 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

A “shovel”

“It’s a completely new adventure, a duo reading with an exceptional musician,” she confided before explaining the reasons which pushed her to accept the offer despite its withdrawal. “Because there were a lot of things that made this show very unexpectedly promising.”

Happy to return to the forefront, Audrey Tautou also spoke of a “shovel” about her return and the shock viewers might have seeing her after so many years. “You didn’t take a little shovel”, launched Alice Taglioni’s companion. “Yes, yes. I think [les téléspectateurs] will say it too.” At 47 years old, the actress is still just as sublime!
