We know that Qatar has experience in armed humanitarian operations. It also has the financial means to help stabilize the situation in Haiti through investment programs in the mining and gas sectors. This country could sign a long-term contract with Haiti according to which it would supply it with oil and liquefied natural gas at a preferential rate in order to contribute to the development of the country.
For the security issue, Qatar could also facilitate the evacuation of certain gang members to promote their dismantling. This country could also easily conquer the hearts of Haitians with the diplomacy of soccer.
