In Yemen, attacks by rebels since that they took the capital worry the international community. The French president condemned their latest attack which targeted civilian facilities in the United Arab Emirates, allies of Yemeni government forces.
The ruins of a building hide the last victims of an endless war. On the night of Monday January 17 to Tuesday January 18, the military collation led by Saudi Arabia bombarded the Yemeni capital Sanaa. The attack left at least 14 dead, including a senior rebel official. “The airstrike targeted the house of a general. Three families lived here, everyone was killed, only a little girl was found alive”, comments a man.
This is retaliation for the attack carried out the day before by the rebels on oil sites in the United Arab Emirates, allies of theSaudi Arabia in this conflict. Since 2014, two camps clash. The rebels houthis, supported by Iran, control the north of the country and the capital. The rest of the country is in the hands of government forces, supported by a coalition led by Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
