7000 tonnes of CO2 saved

It is also a way to almost halve the delivery time compared to a truck, boat, truck journey, with a gain of 4 days.

And then it also allows decongest traffic around the site but also on the motorway assures Matthieu Poidevin, manager of the division which can load up to 250 trucks per day. With this first phase of the plan, there will be 25 fewer trucks per day.

Toyota is already considering other routes to Spain, Italy and Turkey, enough to double the division’s freight teams and reach nearly 200 positions across the entire site.
