This March 3, TF1 broadcasts the Enfoirés show, at 9:10 p.m. Entitled “Motherfuckers one day, always”, it was recorded during a series of 6 concerts from January 12 to 16, 2023 at the Halle Tony-Garnier in Lyon, in the presence of Patrick Bruel, Mimie Mathy, Jenifer and Jane Birkin. And over the years, many celebrities have abandoned the idea of helping Restos du Coeur, due to disagreements with the production.
“A palace of billionaires”
We think in particular of Yannick Noah, who participated 11 times in the show, between 1993 and 2012. In 2007, the former tennis player turned singer had ranted against the Enfoirés, about the organization of housing, on the sidelines seven concerts at the Zénith de Nantes. That year, the team that included David Hallyday, Nolwenn Leroy, Francis Cabrel and Jean-Jacques Goldman, slept in a hotel in La Baule, about a hundred kilometers from the venue. And the luxury of the Hermitage hotel has brought the mustard to the nose of Yannick Noah.

At the time, he lamented to AFP: “I come to sing voluntarily for the Restos du Cœur, I will not take advantage of it to be accommodated in a palace of billionaires”. True to his principles, the sportsman who is now a village chief in Cameroon, his father’s country of origin, had packed his bags and headed for Nantes, to stay in a more modest hotel.
“May be later”
If he was angry, Yannick Noah fortunately did not completely close the door to a return to the troupe. In 2019, he confided to Pure Charts that he would sing again”may be later”. And to add: “It’s good that there is a renewal of singers. I was from a generation that did it… Me, I did it seven or eight times. I think it’s good that there is a renewal, that the younger generation monopolizes this. In the best of worlds, there should be no more Enfoirés but it will exist perhaps forever. It is good that young people are aware that ‘they can participate too’.
