Going after your dreams is the theme of the carte blanche of navigator Yannick Bestaven, guest of France Bleu la Rochelle.
On the eve of christening his new sailboat “Maître Coq V” in the port of La Rochelle, Yannick Bestaven, winner of the last Vendée Globe, was the guest of France Bleu. The navigator had carte blanche for his mood ticket where he chose the theme “Going after his dreams”. This echoes the film directed by Sébastien Blemon “Dreams never die”. This feature film tells the extraordinary story of Yannick Bestaven. This documentary film is also enriched with portraits of personalities who have realized their dreams: Daniel Auteuil, Isabelle Autissier, Philippe Croizon, Bixente Lizarazu, Thomas Pesquet, Charline Picon, Erik Orsenna…
Yannick Bestaven : Whatever the cost, if you believe in your passion, go for it, get up in the morning for that, and if they tell you you won’t make it, it’s not made for you, as I heard it, you have to believe in your convictions, have a lot of resilience and then go for it.
