Yannick Alléno speaks to his late son Antoine before the funeral: “We love you and mourn you with all our bodies”

The funeral of Antoine Alléno is scheduled for this Friday, May 13, 2022 in the Church of Notre Dame de Poissy. His famous dad, the multi-starred chef Yannick Alléno has never ceased to pay tribute to him since his tragic death on May 8, in the heart of Paris. While parked at a red light on his scooter in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, with a passenger behind him, Antoine Alléno was hit by a heavily alcoholic driver, indicted since the terrible accident.

A few hours before his son’s funeral, Yannick Alléno posted a long message on his Instagram account, evoking the last farewell but also, and above all, all the admiration he has for him. “My little angel !! Today you will enter eternity! We have chosen your mother and I this beautiful house which has had the opportunity many times to see you pass by! It opens its doors to you this afternoon! You have never done anything like the others! You came into the world on July 4, an American national holiday and left on May 8, Liberation Day! You are going to have a goodbye worthy of a prince worthy of you!“, he begins his message, which accompanies a black and white portrait of Antoine. The young man, chef like his dad and promised to a very bright future, appears there with a smile.

Yannick Alléno continues his message by retracing his son’s incredible journey: “My child, at 24 you have already done so many things… Madagascar, Costa Rica, Bali, the US, Italy… to travel, hk, Singapore, Africa… to cook, Lasserre, pre Catelan, Clarence , Jules Vernes, Ledoyen, 1947 or in 2017 you were going to seek with Gérard the 3 stars in the Michelin guide, then finally your project!! @burgerpereetfils! We were talking about it and you said to me: ‘Chui hot’! You did this so well my son so well!! I’m proud of you!
