Yannick Alléno: Brutal death of his 24-year-old son, in a terrible accident in the middle of Paris

terrible news for Yannick Alleno. The starred chef tragically lost his son in an accident that occurred on the night of Sunday May 8 to Monday May 9 in Paris, as reported Le Figaro. Antoine Alléno, a young man of 24, was mowed down by a stolen car while he was riding a scooter himself. The driver of the car had fled before being arrested by the police.

It is a little after 2 a.m. when a luxury car (Audi RS6) is stolen from the restaurant, Coya, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, by a 42-year-old individual. The latter presented a false ticket to the valet. While he was not pursued by the police, the thief drives at high speed and forces the passage between a taxi and a scooter. Unable to control his vehicle, he lost control of the machine and hit the two users head-on at the Alma bridge. The driver of the scooter, Antoine Alleno, is killed instantly. His passenger, whose identity is not known, and the taxi driver were taken to hospital with a non-initiated vital prognosis.

After fleeing, the driver was apprehended by an off-duty police officer from the DSPAP (local security department of the Paris conurbation). The suspect, who refused to submit to an alcohol test, is known to the police for several traffic offenses. He was also wanted to serve a prison sentence.

Antoine Alléno had chosen, like his father, the path of cooking, a field in which he had great ambitions. Described as talented, he even did his classes in the prestigious family restaurant, I’Allenotheque (located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris). Ex-companion of Patricia Kaas, the chef Yannick Alléno is the father of another son. Based in the Paris region, he has three Michelin stars and runs a hotel group in his name.
