New York Yankees game radio reporter John Sterling showed his professionalism on Saturday.
During the Boston Red Sox’s visit to Yankee Stadium, the 84-year-old was foul-balled directly in the face. After some “Ow,” Sterling quickly continued his description of the action, when the Yankees made one final out in a 3-1 win.

The ball that hit the voice of the Bronx Bombers since 1989 came from the stick of Red Sox third baseman Justin Turner. After the game, he signed the object which was added to Sterling’s collection.
The athlete added the following statement on the ball: “No matter where your seat is in the stadium, you are never safe”.
