It is a very moving testimony delivered by Yanis Marshall on the BFMTV antenna. The dancer and choreographer, popularized by season 10 of the star Academy in which he evolved as a dance teacher alongside Michael Goldman, Adeline Tonuiti, Pierre de Brauer and Laure Balon, recently accused his colleague Bruno Vandelli in various publications on Instagram of having sexually abused him when he was 14. Bruno Vandelli was 42 at the time of the facts put forward by his accuser. Allegations that the ex-juror of Popstars denied with the greatest firmness on Instagram, indicating to take them to court with a view to having them convicted and obtaining compensation for the damage suffered: “My complaint certainly contains what is needed against this charade, who would like to make me look like a monster (…) Threatening someone is not proof of your strength but of your weakness. I don’t threaten, I act, perhaps differently than you, but I believe at a given moment in the values of what our justice system is capable of deciding.”
On BFMTV this Saturday, January 20, 2024, Yanis Marshall burst into tears while talking about the horror he claims to have suffered when he was 14 years old, and the trap that his alleged attacker would have set for him: “One day, I had a solo. He choreographed the solo for me, we were not far from the end of the year gala. I asked him if I could get the music back, since at the time, we didn’t have iPhones, it was twenty years ago, it was the era of CDs. He said to me: Yes, no problem, I’ll be at the beach this afternoon, go to this beach, to recover the music. So I go to the beach. Arriving at the beach, he was on a pontoon, he used to go there. He was alone, and he said to me: The CD is at home, but come on, sit down. He takes me a deckchair, and I stay with him”begins the dancer before being overcome by emotion.

And to continue, his voice trembling and his eyes clouded with tears: “Afterwards, he took me to his house, and very quickly, I realized… My legs were shaking. He asks me if I saw a Janet Jackson concert (…) because he knew that I was a fan of Janet (…) so he said to me: Come on, I have a TV in the room , we’re going to watch his concert. He puts on the concert, he stands next to me, my legs start to tremble, as if by instinct (…) And there… without going into details, he did to me what he did to me.”
Yanis Marshall indicated that he had filed a complaint against Bruno Vandelli for “aggravated rape of a minor”. The man said he managed to collect“16-17 testimonials in just 24 hours”young men who also claim to be victims of sexual abuse perpetrated by Bruno Vandelli: “That’s the most traumatic thing for me. I’ve always been aware of it. It’s known in the industry. Nobody ever wanted to talk.”. In conclusion, Yanis Marshall assured that at least seven alleged victims wished to become civil parties alongside him, and to bring their respective cases before the courts. For now, it should be remembered that Bruno Vandelli is presumed innocent facts that Yanis Marshall attributes to him.
