Four years after the assassination under a background of anti-Semitism of the pensioner Mireille Knoll, the verdict fell for the main suspect.
In 2018, Mireille Knoll was brutally murdered in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. A heinous crime of an anti-Semitic nature. While the judgment in this case took place on November 10, justice delivered its verdict, sentencing Yacine Mihoub to life imprisonment. As a reminder, he is accused of having carried the eleven stab wounds to Mireille Knoll.
Eric Pelletier, journalist for France Télévisions, is live from the courthouse (Paris) on November 10, details the verdict. “After nearly ten hours of deliberation, the Paris Assize Court has just delivered its verdict”, explains the reporter. “For the jury, no doubt, it is Yacine Mihoub who is the sole author of this crime, and that is why he is sentenced to life imprisonment”, he adds. As for his accomplice, “Alex Carrimbacus was sentenced to 15 years in prison.”
