We no longer present Xiberoots!
Since 2018, the Souletins have been broadcasting their reggae-ragga throughout the Basque Country: these 6 friends have the particularity of singing in Souletin, their roots – roots in English – being well anchored in Soule, Xiberoa.
xiberoots has already two albums to his credit, with very reggae titles, and others much more danceable, in raggamuffin mode.
Gatom is a rap and hip hop artist from Bermeo in Biscay.
He recorded his first songs in 2011, and navigates between different styles, from rap, to hip hop, through reggae or ragga.
“Hitza Hitz”, the anthem of the Hitza Hitz festival
The title “Hitza Hitz” accompanies the communication of the very first Hitza Hitz festival, which will take place in Mauléon on September 23 and 24.
Xiberoots and Gatom put us in the mood, they will be on stage the first night (September 23), to heat up the atmosphere!
The Hitza Hitz festival is a daring bet, a real challenge: bring big names from the electro scene to Mauléon, and organize an “urban” music event in the middle of the countryside!
A bet that promises to be a winner, with a 4-star program which we hope will allow the festival to take its mark, reach a wide audience and develop in the years to come.
