Director and actor Xavier Dolan lends his voice to the valiant Captain Buzz Lightyear, in the French version dubbed in Quebec of the animated film Lightyearwhich opens Friday.

In the original version, Chris Evans (Captain America) voices the fearless space patroller, who is said to have inspired the popular action figure in the franchise Toy Story (toy story).
This is Xavier Dolan’s second experience in dubbing a Pixar animated film, since he is the voice of Fearin Upside Down (Inside Out).
He also lends his voice to many actors, including Timothée Chalamet, Harris Dickinson and Richard Madden.
