WTA Ranking | Status quo in the standings, pending Berlin then Wimbledon

(Paris the top 10 of the WTA ranking published on Monday, which does not include any changes, remains dominated by the Polish Iga Swiatek, and we must go down to 13e place to find something new, with the Russian Veronika Kudermetova, finalist in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Kudermetova gains a place after losing Sunday in the Netherlands against her compatriot Ekaterina Alexandrova, who took the opportunity to climb in 22e location (+4).

More moves could come next Monday, as a WTA 500 tournament takes place this week in Berlin. In the absence of Swiatek, who is not very comfortable on grass, the Belarusian Sabalenka, seeded N.1, could score precious points there – especially since she lost there at 1er tour last year, while waiting for Wimbledon (July 3-16).

The French Caroline Garcia, world N.4, is also present in Berlin, where she will start Monday with a match against the German Sabine Lisicki (308e).
