(Paris) The Polish Iga Swiatek remains firmly established in the first world ranking of the WTA ranking published on Monday despite her defeat the day before in the final of the Ostrava tournament against the Czech Barbora Krejcikova, already winner in Tallinn the previous week.

At home, this prevented Swiatek from winning the 11e final of his career out of 12 played. It is the first time that the Pole has failed in the final for three years.
Krejcikova, titled at Roland-Garros in 2021, gained nine places thanks to this 5e title on the WTA circuit and occupies the 14e rank.
The Tunisian Ons Jabeur and the Estonian Anett Kontaveit remain N.2 and N.3 in the world.
The Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova joins the top 20at the 20e square.
