Fifteen mountains, including a Paterberg-Vieux Quaremont sequence, and five cobbled sections. The Grand-Prix E3 reserves its share of surprises every year. If Wout Van Aert advances as the favorite on Friday March 25, the race is far from over for the Belgian. Last year, he suffered a puncture at the start of the day before being left behind on the last climb.
Kasper Asgreen, winner and blaster of the race during the previous edition will be present to try to defend his title. His teammate, the French Florian Sénéchal, who had assisted him on the line will also be on the starting line. Still at Quick-Step Alpha Vynil, Zdenek Stybar, winner in 2019 and fifth in 2021 could do well. However, there will be no Mathieu Van der Poel, conspicuously absent from this 64th edition of the Grand-Prix E3 .
