(Budapest) Toronto’s Summer McIntosh won silver in the 400-metre freestyle at the World Swimming Championships on Saturday.

The 15-year-old swimmer was beaten only by American star Katie Ledecky.
Ledecky covered the distance in three minutes 38.15 seconds, easily edging out McIntosh, who clocked 3:59.39.
American Leah Smith completed the podium with a time of 4:02.08.
McIntosh was the youngest member of the Canadian team at the Tokyo Olympics last summer. At 14, she finished fourth in the 400m and also fourth in the women’s relay.
