Thanks in particular to four runs in the second inning, the Houston Astros prevailed 7-2 over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, tying the World Series with one victory per side.
The crowd favorites scored a first point in the first, following a sacrifice ball from Alex Bregman.
Then came to mark Jose Altuve, who would bring the score in the final count with a solo homerun, in seventh.
Travis d’Arnaud responded to the starting point with a homerun, before a four-point second inning for the Astros.
After singles from Kyle Tucker and Yuli Gurriel, Jose Siri broke the tie with an infield single.
Martin Maldonado pushed two runners to plate with a single, then Michael Brantley made it 5-1 with another single.
Freddie Freeman closed the gap with a convenient single in the fifth, but Gurriel restored the margin via an optional in the sixth inning.
Max Fried gave up six runs and seven hits in innings, in addition to committing a bad pitch.
Jose Urquidy allowed two runs and six hits in five innings, having seven batters on strikes.

As an Atlanta-based squad, the Braves won the Fall Classic in 1995 at the expense of the Cleveland Indians.
The 2017 edition of the World Series ended with a first triumph for the Astros.
Meanwhile, Braves right-hander Charlie Morton traveled to Green Bay to be examined by foot and ankle specialist Dr. Robert Anderson.
