After splitting its two games on Sunday, Canada (3-1) moved into second place in Group A, behind Finland (4-0).

Facing a 1-0 decline going into the third end, Canada exploded for three points. However, the South Koreans forced an extra end by scoring two runs in the eighth end as they faced a 6-4 deficit.

Canada took advantage of the hammer in the extra end to score the decisive point.
