Halifax Mooseheads forward Attilio Biasca, who is having a very good season having amassed 27 points in 28 games, ended the game with a good shot after about forty seconds.

After an uneventful first period, the Finns opened the scoring thanks to a fine effort from Konsta Kapanen, the cousin of Montreal Canadiens prospect Oliver Kapanen. Without making too much noise, the Swiss managed to take the lead with a net from Shawinigan Cataractes center Lorenzo Canonica and Jeremy Jabola.

The Finns’ reply came from the stick of Kalle Vaisanen, sending both teams into extra time.

The Swiss team has therefore temporarily taken the lead in Group B, which is also made up of Latvia, Slovakia and the United States.
