What is the purpose of this day?
The vocation of World Cleanup Day, to mobilize as many of us as possible to clean the streets of our cities, and to raise everyone’s awareness of eco-responsible actions and the fight against pollution, in a friendly atmosphere. Worldwide, 181 countries are participating in this gigantic operation. On a national scale, events are organized in the four corners of France. The World Cleanup Day has the crazy ambition of bringing together 5% of the world’s population, therefore at least 3.5 million citizens in France (mainland and DROM-COM) on thousands of collection sites. There is a way! Especially since this movement belongs to everyone. The role of the association is to promote this day as festive, positive, educational, a way of seeing things differently to change behavior.
