Paul Pogba, player of the French football team, claims to be the victim of an extortion attempt. He was allegedly threatened by armed men. His own brother is allegedly involved.
The video has been viewed over four million times on social media. We see Mathias, the brother of Paul Pogba, promising revelations against the player of the France team. “I believe that (…) the whole world deserves to know certain things”, he explains. Immediately, via a press release from his lawyers and his agent, the world champion to counterattack. “These statements are unfortunately not a surprise. They are added to threats and attempts at extortion by an organized gang”details the press release.
An investigation was opened in early August and entrusted to the service of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police. The player of the Blues would have been threatened in particular by armed men, according to his statements to the police. The alleged perpetrators would claim 13 million euros for services rendered, without further details.
