Works in the metro: half of the blue line closed on Sunday

Metro users will have to plan their trip on Sunday due to the closure of half of the blue line.

Acadie, Outremont, Édouard-Montpetit, Université-de-Montréal, Côte-des-Neiges and Snowdon stations (on the blue line only) will be closed from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. due to accessibility work at Édouard station -Montpetit.

In order to compensate for this closure, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has chosen to set up a shuttle service. Thus the 809 bus will go from 15 to 10 minutes, depending on the time of day. Users will therefore be able to travel between the Snowdon and Jean-Talon stations via the shuttle.

“The shuttle will make a stop at each blue line metro station and will be available in both directions,” added the STM.

Note that the orange line remains accessible via the Snowdon station and that the blue line will remain in operation between the Parc and Saint-Michel stations.
