The rise in fuel prices continues, Wednesday, March 9. Workers and businesses that cannot avoid its costs are worried about their future.

In Alençon, Vincent Agostini, manager of a taxi and ambulance company, has to refuel every other day: “Every ten cents more is 1000 euros per month increase for the company”, he laments. The regulated prices do not allow him to pass on this increase to his races. For his part, Thibault Augras, landscaper, wants to ask his customers to pay more: “We need almost 150 liters a week”he justifies.

In Dijon, Marina Deysine, a liberal nurse goes to her patients by car. Its full for the week is now approaching 100 euros, which worries it. Fishermen are also affected by this price increase: “The fuel costs are deducted from the common costs”, explains Bernard Perez, president of the regional fisheries committee. Workers are hoping for government aid to deal with rising costs.
