The metropolis of Tours has announced several works on the roads of Touraine this summer, from July 11 to September 1. They will concentrate on the peripheral boulevard of Tours, the Grand-Sud avenue of Chambray-lès-Tours and the departmental road 751 between Azay-le-Rideau and Ballan-Miré. Diversions will be put in place.
Works on the peripheral boulevard of Tours…
The first works will take place from Monday July 11 to Wednesday July 13 at night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane between the Portes de Tours and Portes de La Richein both directions between Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire and Chambray-lès-Tours.
From Monday July 18 to Friday July 29, work will only continue in the direction of Chambray-lès-Tours towards Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire. Vehicles coming from Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire will be switched to the opposite lane, again reducing traffic to one lane in both directions. From Monday August 1st to Friday August 5th, the work will concern the track in the other direction, Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire towards Chambray-lès-Tours. Vehicles will also be switched to opposite lanes and traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions.
…and on the avenue Grand-Sud de Chambray and the RD 751
From Monday July 25 to Friday July 29, the work will be carried out on the avenue du Grand-Sud in Chambray-lès-Tours between the Telegraph crossroads and the Auchan crossroads. During this period, traffic will be adapted and switched to the opposite lanes.
From Monday August 29 to Thursday September 1, traffic will be prohibited on the RD751 in the Tours direction towards Azay-le-Rideau between the Azay-le-Rideau gate and the Ballan-Miré exit. The access ramps to the RD751 from the ring road will also be closed in both directions.
