Women’s Soccer World Cup | Anti-bias ad hits the mark

Nearly two weeks before the start of the Women’s Soccer World Cup, the company Orange has taken great measures to break down prejudices and prove that women’s soccer is just as spectacular as its male counterpart.

In an advertisement entitled “The crazy actions of the French team that we have all forgotten”, the company has concocted a montage in which we see nearly a minute of highlights of spectacular actions carried out by the men’s team. .

However, it is not really Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann or Kingsley Coman who execute the feints, the spectacular passes and the goals. The faces of the male stars were affixed to those of their female counterparts.

These jewels were instead accomplished by Sakina Karchaoui, Delphine Cascarino and the other members of the women’s national team. Thus, the viewer finds himself realizing that the women score equally impressive goals.

The video has more than a million views on YouTube and serves to boost the competition which will begin on July 20.
