That’s it: the Montreal team of the Professional Women’s Hockey League (LPHF) will be able to attract the crowd to the Bell Center on April 20, during a match against the Toronto women.
This was announced Monday evening by Radio-Canada Sports. The league is expected to make the official announcement on Tuesday.
The match will pit the Montreal team against the Toronto team on April 20. The match had to be moved forward. It was initially scheduled to be played on April 21 at the Verdun auditorium.
LPHF matches have been attracting crowds since their launch in January. The current record is held by Toronto, during a match against Montreal at Scotiabank Arena. The number of spectators: 19,285.

The Bell Center has a capacity of 21,302 seats. It is the largest venue in the National Hockey League and the largest hockey arena in North America.
