(Calgary) The Canadian-American women’s hockey rivalry series will return in 2024-25, with the Maritimes hosting the final two games.
Hockey Canada and USA Hockey released the schedule for the five-game series on Tuesday.
Game 4 will be played on February 6 at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, while Summerside, P.E.I., will host the final game on February 8 at Credit Union Place.
“We look forward to once again delivering five great hockey games to fans and leaving a lasting impact and legacy in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island this season,” Hockey Canada president and CEO Katherine Henderson said in a release.
The series will begin with three games in the United States: in San Jose, California, on November 6, in West Valley City, Utah, on the 8th, and in Boise, Idaho, on the 10th.
Canada won four straight games to win last year’s best-of-seven Rivalry Series.
The first-ever Rivalry Series was a three-game series in 2018-19. Canada has won three of the last four editions of the event.
