When I look at these images that strike me in the media, seeing Donald Trump greatly discredit his main rival, Nikki Haley, in the Republican primaries currently being held in the United States. This woman who stood up to him until Super Tuesday, when she won a single state. When I see all these women who have been violated, decried and mistreated by this sad character. When I see that he is not doing so badly despite everything. When I look at all these women branded by Trump, I tell myself that he deserves nothing less than to languish in prison for the rest of his days. Because please excuse me, but in my book, woman is the light that paves my path.
When I see all these feminicides that have been committed in Quebec in recent years, all these missing women who have been decimated by their spouse, by the cowardice of these men who only have violence as their only language, devoid of humanity, devoid of love. To all these men, I tell them: “That in the eyes of the man that I am, woman is the light that paves my path. »
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, I would like to pay tribute to all these missing women and to all those who are still fighting to take their place in our world. To all these women who deserve our greatest respect and who have the right to live in their light. This dazzling light of women’s view of our world. This light that paves my path.
