Woman shot and injured in Mont-Tremblant

A 51-year-old woman was seriously injured by a bullet on Saturday night in a home on rue Saint-Roch, in Mont-Tremblant.


A suspect, an 83-year-old man, was arrested and will be met by Sûreté du Québec investigators during the day.

Around 12:30 a.m., the police were called to a home on rue Saint-Roch, in Mont-Tremblant, where they found a woman injured by a projectile from a firearm. The 51-year-old victim was taken to hospital. We fear for his life.

The link between the two individuals has not been confirmed, but it could be attempted murder in a marital context.

A scene was erected at the scene so that investigators and forensic identification technicians could clarify the circumstances of the crime.

The file was entrusted to the Major Crimes Investigation Division of the Sûreté du Québec.
