A 37-year-old woman was attacked by wolves while jogging on a forbidden path. The accident occurred on Sunday June 23, at the Thoiry zoo (Yvelines), in a seven-hectare wooded area, reserved for wild animals and accessible only by car. However, it is there that a 37-year-old Parisian woman was attacked by three wolves. She would have gone through an entrance. “There is an airlock to prevent the animal from leaving, and an airlock which allows cars to enter. No one ever returns on foot without a carer”says Christelle Bercheny, CEO of the Thoiry zoo.
The young woman spent her weekend with her baby and her mother in a residence, which promises a stay as close as possible to the animals. An investigation has been opened into unintentional injuries, and must determine whether it was a case of carelessness or recklessness, as some visitors believe. Some question the signage of the site. Bitten in the throat, arms and calves, the young woman was rescued by park agents and then urgently hospitalized. His life would no longer be in danger.
