The facts date back to June 20, 2021. Almost a year ago, Lauren Belcher-Rainbow made the radical decision to go and threaten the new girlfriend of his ex, armed with a knife. Just 18 years old, the young woman had gone to the home of Jade Johns in the middle of the night and completely drunk. Shortly before the tragedy, a huge argument had broken out between them on social networks because of this new relationship. Before being in a relationship with Ellie Murchison, Jade Johns was happily married to Lauren. Together, they had even given birth to a baby boy.
It is probably for this reason, in order to keep a close and united family that the pretty blonde has chosen to intervene. She would have first insulted her rival before throwing herself on her with animosity. Pregnant, Ellie Murchison could not defend herself. More angry than ever, Lauren threw herself on her enemy while calling her a “bitch” and other vulgarities. She wouldn’t hesitate to grab his hair and punch him in the face before pulling out the bladed weapon in her possession and planting Ellie in the stomach.
Arrested by the police, Lauren was, until then, awaiting trial. Facing the court, the young woman’s lawyer mentioned the heavy past of his client. A detail that Judge Simon Carr agreed to take into account. The sentence was then pronounced. Verdict? 15 months in prison, suspended for 2 years. The court has, in fact, explained that it could not lock up a young mother when no one is able to take care of her child. The accused will also have to undergo therapy and a reintegration program. Last punishment, Lauren no longer has the right to approach or come into contact with Ellie Murchison.
