It is in an empty stadium, due to the closed session imposed by the LFP, that Olympique de Marseille returned to victory at the Vélodrome. The Phocaeans won against Troyes on Sunday November 28, in the last match of the 15th day of Ligue 1 (1-0). After a start to the game more punctuated by the distribution of yellow cards than clear chances, the match gained in intensity in the second period. The possession of the Marseillais against the Trojans ended up paying off at the end of the game, thanks to the goal of Pol Lirola (73rd), well served by Dimitri Payet, tenured a week after the incident in Lyon and this bottle of water that he had received on the head.
This victory allows Jorge Sampaoli’s men to grab a place in the standings and find themselves at the foot of the podium. For his part, Troyes goes on his third game without scoring a goal and is now in 17th place.
