Without Point – and without Nikita Kucherov – it was the supporting actors who made the difference in the attack. Defenseman Zach Bogosian, as well as former Montreal Canadiens forward Corey Perry, both scored their first goal of the campaign. It was a first goal in 681 days for Bogosian.

Steven Stamkos for his part reached the plateau of 10 goals, totaling three points in this meeting. Another former Habs, Mikhail Sergachev, collected two assists. Quebecer Alex Barré-Boulet was the other scorer.

In front of the Floridian team, Andrei Vasilevskiy has never flinched despite 34 pucks directed towards him. Carter Hart has been tested 35 times.

Quebecer Derick Brassard injured his lower body in the first period and did not return to the game thereafter. He has scored the Flyers’ only two goals in their last two games.
